06/15/2009 Alan Stokes claims night surf title
Good friend and amazing surfer Alan Stokes won the 2009 Gul night surf contest at Fistral beach over the weekend. Stokesy looked relaxed throughout the whole event posting a perfect 10 in the Semi final.
In the final, it was down to wave reading as the there wasn't much light for the finalists to see what they were doing. The surf was solid throughout the event and there was a huge turn out including including some big names such as Reubin Ash, Reubin Pearce, Oli Adams, Mat Capel and Micah Leister.
This puts Alan in pole position in the 2009 race to become the uk champ www.bpsauktour.com

06/10/2009 Evening Bliss . . . . .
Winter is over and the boxing season has finished for now. I have been double busy with Surftech, running our free board demo all over the country. So getting my hands on some fancy stand up paddle boards isn't a problem.. With a few basking sharks patrolling Sennen cove and sunny, flat conditions, what better way to spend the evening with the missis.
I paddled the Surftech Takayama Alii 2 11ft, while Charlie chose the Laird 11ft for her 1st ever experience on an SUP. Awesome !! I never thought flat days could be as fun...
