Sunny Christmas
We've had a good first week. Staying in front of Hash point and Panorama's.
Our pad has cost around £40 a week but we've been getting woken up at 6am
every morning by the fishing boat engines. Anchor's has been perfect for the
early's. No one out but us 3 and then about 50 more people hit it in the
arvo so then we hit other uncrowded spots.

The food has been a bit ltd as we've been living on omelettes, bread
and pizza but the weather has been baking and the surf has been very
consistent. We've had 1 flat day where we surfed a beachy up the coast which
was punchy fun. Lew and Alex have been surfing good but have been cutting
their feet up in the meantime. Lew going ass over tit on the rocks after his
15 minute warm up was the funniest. Going to miss Christmas at home but can't
complain about being out of the cold. Here's a few shots of us at Anchor point.

Finally arrived in Morocco after sleeping on the cold floor at Stanstead airport. Blazing hot, good surf, couldn't be better. Great to be out of the U.K. Especially after some yobbo tried stealing Lew's suitcase as we slept at the airport.

We're off to Morocco this Monday. Lew, a few mates and a photographer. Hoping
for a bit of Surf and Sun. If we score, I'll whack a few shots up on this site.

Boner goes hard !!
Adam 'Bones' Williams went hard at Camborne to beat Torbay's Mike Jewell for the second time. Adam looked strong throughout the whole fight landing a hard right in the 4th round, sending Jewell's gum shield to the canvas. Ash 'the bash' had a tuff fight as he gave away 4 kilos and lost on in a very close bout. Some thought 'Bash' had done enough to win.

Novice Update - win/lose the same fight?
I boxed Darren Mckenna from Hayes at Bristol last weekend. It was for the National novice quarters where the Western Counties took on the London champs.

I took it steady for the first round, seeing what my opponent had to offer, finishing the round a couple of points down but confident i could pick up the pace. In the second round, i started to slip his jabs and roll under his big right hands. This allowed me to counter punch and move, levelling the scores. In the 3rd and 4th rounds i felt like i eased my way through, making him miss and catching him with counter right hooks.
At the end of the fight my arm was raised and i was awarded the fight on a majority points decision.
5 minutes after i collected the winners trophy, we were both called back to the ring because of some 'technical issues'. They then awarded the win to my opponent ? They said the ref added the scores incorrectly and that i lost by 1 point...............
